Future research focus areas in kids’ lung health

You play a vital role in determining Wal-yan’s research priorities in kids’ lung health over the next 10 years.

We are seeking expressions of interest to take part in community conversations to find out what research areas are most important to you regarding kids' lung health.

In May and June, we’re holding four conversations with community and consumers in the Perth metro area, and online for those living regionally.

Your thoughts and opinions will help us to answer important questions about the future of research in kids’ lung health, like:

  • What lung health concerns matter most to you, your family, and your community?
  • What areas of kids' lung health should the Wal-yan Centre focus its research on?
  • What tools and resources do families need to help children manage their lung health?

No preparation is needed - just bring your thoughts! We’d love for you to simply reflect on the questions above and share your insights during our consultation.

All attendees will be reimbursed $100 for their time and refreshments will be provided.

We value diverse perspectives in shaping our research priorities. If you're interested in attending, please register below, and the team will reach out to you two weeks before the consultation to let you know if you've been selected.

Expressions of interest will close by 24th March 2025.
